We have been kindly gifted free use of a commercial property owned by our Founder’s family. The property has a small back garden to meet with clients and create art, writing and filmed acting. The garden already has several power points for our writers and social media team to charge up their devices while working under cover outside.
We are currently working with Bunnings Ashfield to see if they will donate staff time and products to help make the garden more useful. We also hope to run a BBQ at Bunnings to raise money for art supplies. If you have any spare plants, gardening equipment, benches or compact outdoor furniture you don’t need, please contact our team. For support from your company, check out our supporters page and we can send across a professional proposal if you need it to convince managers to donate new, refurbished or slightly damaged stock.
The garden is not open to the public but if we raise enough money, we will start running creative sessions and therapeutic gardening for people with a mental illness. We also have an option to expand to the small adjoining premises in November 2018 where our main supporter Mad Stories has a free lease but need donations of desks, screens, laptops and other equipment listed on our supporters page.
